Aldergrove 8-Week Basketball Camp+++

Service Description

This Fall we have the pleasure of running a basketball program every Tuesday for 8 weeks. The camp is designed to introduce different aspects of basketball to individuals in the Aldergrove area. This time around we will have some of the athletes from the Columbia Bible Men's Basketball Team pop in and assist with the skill development of the campers. Each week will focus on a different aspect of basketball: Week 1 Areas of the court and b-ball terminology Week 2 Dribbling Week 3 Passing Week 4 Shooting Week 5 Hard work and effort Week 6 Team play Week 7 Defensive fundamentals Week 8 Preparation for the expected vs the unexpected Each week will consist of skill training and games. Start and End Date: Oct 17,2023 - Dec 12, 2023 Frequency: Every Tuesday *No camp on Halloween Oct 31, 2023 Locations: Grades 1,2,3,4, and 5 will be at [Shortreed Elementary School] Grades 6, 7, and 8 will be at [Betty Gilbert Middle School] Cost: Grades 1-3, 3pm-4pm, $50 registration fee Grades 4-5, 4:15pm-5:45pm, $90 registration fee Grade 6-8, 6:00pm-7:30pm, $120 registration fee *If you are a returning camper from last Spring, you do not need to complete another waiver. You may cancel up to 3 days before the camp. ****Payment deadline Is November 10, 2023. So, you can register for the camp and pay by November 10th without missing any days of the camp. just choose the pay in person option and payment may be settled by or before November 10th. Due to advance monetary commitments for the camp no refunds will be given.
