Guidelines
These Guidelines are designed to create a positive and competitive environment for young basketball players, fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Season Structure

Leagues will range from 2 to 3-month increments, providing consistent and extended opportunities for young athletes to play and develop their skills.

Code of Conduct

Sportsmanship: Players, coaches, and parents are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship throughout the league. Respect for opponents, referees, and fellow participants is mandatory.
Code of Conduct: All participants, including players, coaches, and parents, are required to adhere to a code of conduct that emphasizes fair play, respect, and integrity.
Safety Measures: Adequate first aid measures will be in place during games and practice sessions. Proper equipment will be encouraged for players’ safety.
League Officials: Appoint league officials responsible for overseeing the fair conduct of the league, addressing concerns, and ensuring the overall success of the program.

Registration and Fees

Players can register for individual leagues or as part of school or community teams.
Discount available for registering as a team.
An individual's registration fee is $120 for grades 6 to 12.
An individual's registration fee is $100 for grades 3 to 5.
Cash, credit /debit, or e-transfer accepted.
Registration fees will cover participation, uniforms (that are returned), the championship celebration and access to training sessions.

Facility Utilization

The basketball facility will be optimally utilized, with dedicated court times for league games and training sessions.
Practice Day: One day a week will be designated as a practice day for all teams. Players will have the opportunity to receive training and learn various aspects of basketball. Coaches will conduct skill development drills and provide valuable tips for improvement.

The Championship

The championship team will be awarded pizza or Subway, providing a fun post-game celebration.
